Who we are?

The Cornwall Parent Partnership service offers independent information, support and training for parents and carers.

We work closely with the Children and Young People and Families Service, schools, other agencies and the voluntary sector.

The service provides support to parents and carers who may have concerns about their children’s education.

What are our aims?

To give you independent information, support and training.

To help you make informed choices about your child’s education.

To encourage closer working relationships between you, your child’s school, the Children and Young People and Families Service and other agencies.

To support schools in continuing to develop good working practices with parents.

What can we do?

Provide confidential information and support through our dedicated helpline.

Provide support at meetings.

Signpost you to other services.

Provide a trained volunteer to support you in matters concerning your child’s needs.

Offer training opportunities for parents and professionals.

Help with support for parent groups.

Provide access to an impartial disagreement resolution service.
